Let’s face it: we’re all going to die

I mean, it’s as inevitable as… let just stick with good old taxes. We deny it, ignore it, shove it under the rug—until one glorious morning it jumps out and says, “Surprise! Remember me?” At that point, you either panic or shrug and ask, “Okay…so how do I actually want to live?”

Do you tally up the years or pack each one with so much joy you might sprain something?  Ultimately, it boils down to CHOICES. Your choices. Your gloriously flawed, wonderfully human choices.

 

And speaking of choices, meet your well known and sneakiest adversaries in the fight for life:

1. LIFESTYLE: Couch potatoes don’t get trophies.

2. FOOD: One wrong step to the left or write and you either get poisoned or get another day to thrive.

3. SLEEP: Because nobody looks good in “zombie-chic.”

4. STRESS: That uninvited guest who never brings snacks.

5. SOCIAL CIRCLE: Surround yourself with downers, and you’ll feel like one.

6. ENVIROMENTSL TOXINS: Heavy metals, EMFs, glyphosates, all those “nice” fragrances and bargain-bin clothes that should come with a side of radiation detector etc…

7. Oh, and let’s not forget “too much of a good thing”: Nightshade veggies might sound innocent until they turn your joints into a medieval torture device—one glorious ache at a time. Spinach can easily give you kidney stones.

These little terrors are plotting a thousand tiny cuts, itching to kick you into your grave early or at least keep you in bed wondering if Netflix has a “Get Well Soon” category. So the real question isn’t death—it’s how you’re gonna live before it shows up unannounced. Choices, people. Make ’em count.
